Until further notice, some bus routes for Blades Elementary, Bernard Middle and Oakville High will be changing due to a bridge problem on Baumgartner Road, between Heintz Road and Birch Mount Place. The bridge has been deemed unsafe for traffic. For homes in that area, the District will use the same alternative bus stops that were created during the winter floods. The pick up and drop off times remain the same, but slight delays could occur due to the detour.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience.
The final day of classes in the Mehlville School District is Monday, May 23rd.  It has been an amazing year thanks to our staff, parents and the community members who have given the District so much support during the past 12 months.  Click here to watch a video message from Dr. Chris Gaines about where we are as the school year ends, and where we are going during the 2016-2017 school year.

Lunch Visit from State Senator
Missouri State Senator Scott Sifton joined students for lunch on Friday, Feb. 19, to learn more about how food and nutrition services are operated in public schools. Mehlville Director of School Food and Nutrition Services Katie Koester walked Sifton through the food line and pointed out the healthy menu choices offered to students, many of which are now mandated by the federal government’s National School Lunch Program (NSLP). Click here to view slideshow.
Fredbird - Doin' It Right
On Friday, Feb. 5, Fredbird and St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster and former pitcher Al Hrabosky delivered a perfect pitch to the students - Don't Do Drugs! Stay in School! Participate in Sports and Stay Fit! as part of the Doin' It Right program. The audience enjoyed a mixture of comedy and seriousness while learning important life lessons. Lots of fun, smiles and dancing.
