Dr. Booker Pays-off Promise for Record-Breaking Jump Rope for Heart Fund-Raiser!
Blades Elementary students raised nearly $6,000 for the American Heart Association in their Jump Rope for Heart campaign. Part of their incentive was promises made by principal Dr. Jeremy Booker. Fortunately, Friday, March 7, was a day when temperatures soared into the 50's...because that's the day Booker paid-off! To watch Dr. Booker get doused, click here. Click here to view slideshow. Blades Students Jump Rope for Heart!
February is Jump Rope for Heart Month at Blades Elementary School.

The student who raises the most money for the American Heart Association is going to get the gymnasium named after him or her for the rest of the school year!

You may remember last year's successful fund-raiser.  Principal Dr. Jeremy Booker ended-up duct taped to a wall!

The goal this year is to raise $2,000.  The top-10 fund-raisers will get their names put in a drawing to be honorary P.E. teacher for a day.  That means they'll get to hang-out with Mr. Schulte and Mr. Green!

There are numerous other prizes, starting with a rubber-plastic camouflage duck and lanyard for students who raise just $5.00.  Students can also qualify for thank-you gifts including jump ropes, t-shirts, playground balls, and head phones.

Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park has also agreed to provide a free pass for every student who raises $100 or more.
