Fund Raising

Butter Braids

Selling Butter Braids and pretzels. Distribute order forms, collect the forms and money, tally the sheets, send in the order to the vendor and distribute the product one evening at school to the seller. Sellers distribute to their buyers

Bobcat Mile

Children to get sponsors for their walk/run at school during school hours. It will require volunteers to help with the distribution and collection of the donation envelopes and to help the children the day of the event.

Cardinal Calendars

Involves distributing order forms (late Oct/early Nov) collecting forms & money (mid Nov), ordering calendars (mid Nov) and distributing them once they come in (mid Dec). There are prizes that are associated with this fundraiser which are sent in Feb/Mar

Trunk or Treat

Family Fun Event. Opportunity for families to meet other Blades families. Coordinate a day, collect candy donations and organize volunteers to decorate their cars. Coordinate with grade level parent for concession sales.

Organize a family fun night at Arnold Rec. Set date, receive reservations, coordinate volunteers and purchase snacks for the event.

Breakfast for new parents on the first day of school

Organize a family night at school where kids can ride bikes/scooters and play on the playground

Field Day/Picnic

This is a day-long event of field games and picnic activities for the entire school. Family members are encouraged to attend. Volunteers are needed to help with planning, getting together anything needed for the day and to help each group of children with their activities.

Schedule restaurant nights with local businesses that allows Blades to receive a percent of sales from that evening. Requires contacting the businesses , creating and sending out flyers

KISS breakfast

Kids Invite Someone Special to breakfast. It will be held in the morning before school in conjunction with the Spring Book Fair. Volunteers are needed to promote the event, purchase the food, serve food and clean up

Staff Appreciation Lunch/Week

This is a week long celebration of the entire staff at Blades. We like to show our appreciation in creative ways throughout the week and have a luncheon for all of them. We ask for donations of money and food for this event, as well as help for the luncheon. Volunteers are also needed to do some fun things for the staff throughout the week

This week long book fair will be held at Blades during the school day. Volunteers are needed to help set up, sell books, help children with purchases, cashier, etc. All children attend the book fair at a certain time with their class room

Event before the first day of school for the kids to meet their teachers, bring their supplies and meet their teachers.

Art to Remember

An art project that the Chair work with the Art Teacher to create. Starts in Aug/Sept to have each student create their own artwork to be copied onto keepsake items. Parents can order items starting in October and delivery is in early Dec.
